Sweet! You guys will be even cooler now. I wonder what that “upcoming title that is currently slated for release in winter of 2009″ is.

Wows, so basically Nicalis IS indy games now. With the makers of Cave Story, Knytt, and now La Mulana, you need to rope in Derek Yu to make a PSP port of Spelunky. When it’s done that is, congrats!

I did not previously know it was possible to love Nicalis any more than I did before. This knowledge terrifies and frightens me. I’m a gamer, dammit! My heart is supposed to be a cynical, blackened cinder of hatred and loathing! WHY MUST YOU OPEN MY HEART SO?

Seriously, this is great news. I look forward to seeing more and more good news come out of this partnership (including the aforementioned and hoped-for La Mulana Wii).

I’m hoping this “upcoming title that is currently slated for release in winter of 2009″ isn’t a tender way of saying Cave Story has been pushed back again. I have a feeling it is.

Yeah, paired with the reveal in Nintendo Power, I think it’s pretty obvious who’s doing the La Mulana 16 bit update on Wii. That’s pretty cool.

momo: as nice as it would be for Nicalis to expand and hire some extra workers, I have a feeling that posting in the blog probably isn’t the best way to get noticed.

The only way I could possibly love Nicalis more then I do now because of this would be if Nicalis and Nitrome teamed up to make the God of all pixel games…

    I can dream can’t I?
