By now you’ve, hopefully, watched the Night Game trailer. It’s not playable at the show, but another game we’re work on is, Cave Story! Kiosks with various WiiWare games are setup at the showfloor, one of those games is Cave Story.
Like Night Game, Cave Story will also have its own trailer running during the show. As the trailer is intended for trade-only it does technically have a couple of spoilers. Even so, we’ve uploaded the trailer for everyone to look at, just follow the link below. But don’t blame us if you see something you shouldn’t!
See you at the Nintendo booth! (* ^ _^)/

Now I’m really sad that I couldn’t get to E3. I would have loved to play a bit of Cave Story WiiWare before it came out. Looks really nice.

Wow spoilers indeed, juicy, awesome spoilers. I am really anticipating this games release, between Cave Story and Swords & Soldiers I’ll be set for quite a while in the upcoming WiiWare months.

Nice vid,but why must you torment us so? No info on a release date? Simply cruel. (Kidding on the torment stuff, but still, great vid.)

@ZaxCG2: Nope, everything in the trailer is in the original game. You must have missed it or forgotten about it.
[And if you missed it then it means you haven't really played the game.

I found the final scene to be a bit depressing, to be honest ._.
Nice video, though. Saw it on the Nintendo E3 Presskit website.

It looks great, though it seems that as the enemies and bosses get bigger, such as in the trailer, It seems to become harder to notice any kind difference between their old and new form. For example the… I can’t notice that much of a change with that thing that I can’t say its name for fear of spoilers, but it’s name starts with a C and ends with a E and is in a certain epic boss fight.
It’s probably just me though.

Guys, look what I found:
http://wii.ign.com/objects/142/14287155.html
Release Date: Q3 2009 – September 30, 2009
I know IGN is known for blatantly making shit up, but I sure would really appreciate some official word along the lines of “Of COURSE it won’t take us until the end of September; it’ll be out soon, just fixing the last minor bugs and working on the music a little more, and the sound effects,” or something like that.

But that trailer is amazing! I’m really excited for this game, is this theme the older title screen?

Nothing wrong with a September release, Zeflax. The closer to December 20, the better..

Except I’ve been wanting some Cave Story for a while. I haven’t played for at least 8 months, and decided not to till the Wii Version came out, to make the effect all that much more heightened.
But I don’t think I could handle till September.

I’ve done the same thing, Psyme. I hadn’t played for a while when the port was first announced, and I decided to not play it again until it was released.
I have a lot on my mind these days though, so it isn’t very difficult to wait for release. And I’m comforted by the fact that every day the game gets better.

Well, it’s certainly pretty, and the old music was definitely a plus. Worst comes to worst i’ll play with the new graphics and old music, as that’s really my only gripe with it these days.
Day one purchase, whenever that ‘day one’ happens to be. just give us like a weeks notice so we can buy it and then buy our friends a copy :3

Mmm… I wish they’d used something for the music other than Plantation. That’s the only CS song I dislike.
