I KNEW IT. I LUVS YOU, PIXEL.
One for everything, one for minimal, and one as a guest file. Or so I’d use them.
Oh, by the by, I have a nice, simple idea for cavestory’s main wii-menu background. Kasuma and Quote flying on the Sky dragon; the moon shining through clouds in the background… (See: bad ending)
Also, does anyone else want to hurt the many advertising places that /spoil half the game/ in it’s description? Last I checked, Quote’s identity, persona, and initial mission are all meant to be /a secret/. Grawr.

Huh? Three save files?! Man, how long I’ve waited for this to happen!
A little bland to me, but that’ probably because of the not-so-obviously-pixelated font in use. A new look for the menu wouldn’t hurt!
And WHOA! Mr. Traveler must have traveled back in time, last saving on the day of Y2K… (perhaps this explains why he ends up in a random cave with no memory)

That looks like a new Quote sprite, abeit a different lower-res Quote sprite. Probably just a cursor?

Awesome!
Then again, I was already taking such an improvement for granted.
Keep up the good work, guys.

Glad to hear the good news; thanks for informing us, Tyrone. Three save files will definitely be more convenient.

hrmmm… well it sure “looks” like three save files, im not sure what else this could be, is this a trick question?
kidding… On the Wii it would be kinda hard to copy & paste your save file elseware like the pc version.

Is that a grappling hook in the time defying savegame?

I think it’s a development-specific Wii, time-setting, or general emulation.

Awesomeness. Since you’re going for the detailed look, how about a small yellow number at the top right of the weapon icons to show their current level, too, mebbe?
